The renovated space doubles our after-school capacity and includes a small library and computer corner.
Last week we opened the doors of our newly renovated learning centre in Riverbend, doubling the number of children we can welcome each afternoon.
The space includes a small library of more than 1,200 books, a computer corner with six machines donated by a local business, and a quiet room for homework support. Construction materials were sourced locally, and the finishing work was done by volunteers from the neighbourhood.
Classes run six days a week, and registration is free for families in the area.
